Aviation Professionals Tee Up For The 3rd Annual Aviation Cup Africa Golf Tournament

The Aviation Cup Africa Golf Tournament returns to the Ikeja Golf Club for a two-day competition on May 31st and June 1st, 2024. This year marks the third iteration of the event, which has grown from a one-day gathering to a more extensive format.

Organized by industry leaders, the tournament fosters camaraderie and friendly competition among aviation professionals. Past editions have attracted major players across the sector, including Boeing, FAAN, Sabre Travel Solutions, various airlines, and aviation media outlets.In 2023, the Corporate Foursome Challenge trophy was secured by a team comprised of Grp. Capt. Usman Sadiq (formerly of FAAN) and Mr. Nasir Yahaya.

This year’s expanded format offers opportunities for both individual and corporate participation, with the Corporate Foursome Challenge remaining a central focus. Organizers anticipate a thrilling competition as FAAN attempts to defend its title against potential challengers from government agencies, the military and private companies.

Beyond the competition itself, the Aviation Cup Africa Golf Tournament promises an enjoyable atmosphere for networking, building relationships, and enjoying friendly competition within the aviation community.
