Ibrahim Babayo has been elected as the new Captain of the IBB International Golf and Country Club in Abuja, marking a significant moment for the club as it aims for global recognition in the world of golf.In his new role, Babayo is dedicated to elevating the IBB Golf Club’s status internationally, showcasing the talent from Nigeria and Africa in the global golfing community.During his inaugural address, Captain Babayo emphasized his commitment to creating exceptional experiences for partners and sponsors to propel Nigerian golf and the IBB Golf Club to new heights.
He also outlined plans to diversify the club’s revenue streams beyond membership fees, focusing on enhancing infrastructure, facilities, and services. Additionally, Babayo aims to improve hygiene standards and environmental regulations within the club’s premises.With a background in Estate Management and a successful track record in business, Babayo brings a wealth of experience and a vision for positive change to his new role.
Joining him in the executive committee are James Eromosele Agbonhese as Vice Captain, Dame Julie Donli OON as Lady Captain, Bolarin Aliyu-Faniyan as Honorary Secretary, Gabriel O.
