Members of Lagos Country Club have elected a new President to run the affairs of the prestigious club for the next one year. In the keenly contested election which held on October 1, 2020, Architect Funmi Bamkole emerged president after beating his closest rival, Chief Semiu Oganla. Other winners of the election are Mr. Adegboyega Oduwole for the position of Secretary General and Mr. Olusegun Kuti who won as the new Social Secretary. The other candidates were returned unopposed. They are: Mr. Igho Okor as the Vice-President, Mr. Steve Oboh as the Membership Secretary, Mr. Dele Oshiga as the Treasurer, Mr. Segun Aluko as the Sports Secretary and Mr. Peter Mgbeahuru as the Council Member.
Mr. Bamkole was a former Chairman of Squash Section and former Sports Secretary of the Club.
