The prestigious Ibadan Golf Club’s captain, Mr Ola Ibironke popularly known as Dudu Heritage is dead.
Dudu Heritage, a socialite, music promoter, and Golf Sport enthusiast was reported to have slumped and died on Sunday night.
It was also gathered that all efforts to resuscitate him after slumping proved abortive.
The late socialite who married to a popular Yoruba Nollywood actress, Bimbo Oshin, had relocated to Ibadan some years ago.
However, the Ibadan Golf Club through a statement issued and signed by its EXCO has reacted to the sudden death of its captain:
According to the statement, “We are shocked by the sudden demise of our Captain, Mr. Ola Ibironke”
“The Course is hereby closed and all club activities are suspended until further notice while the Flag will be hoisted at half-mast”
“Our prayers are with his family and members of this great Club,” The statement concluded.
