The announcement of this strategic partnership was made at a recent investiture ceremony at the Metropolitan Club in Victoria Island, Lagos. During the event, Dame Marie Fatayi-Williams was installed as the new president of the Cosmopolitan Women’s Club.

Speaking at the ceremony, Rafiat Gawat, TGI Group’s head of corporate communication, reiterated the company’s dedication to alleviating hunger and empowering communities through its TGI Cares Foundation.Gawat highlighted the alignment between TGI Cares and the CWC’s humanitarian mission, stating, “We are deeply committed to supporting the impactful work of the CWC. As part of our contribution, we will be making monthly donations of food items to their food bank project.

This initiative reflects our foundation’s goals of addressing both existential and situational hunger while promoting empowerment.”She further elaborated on TGI Group’s core business values, saying, “Food is at the heart of our portfolio. Through TGI Cares, we aim to address the immediate needs of those facing hunger while also supporting long-term community empowerment and development.
