MTN Nigeria Invests in Tennis; Ikoyi Club Boasts New Courts & Lounge 

Ikoyi Club is ready to serve up a winning experience for its members and the wider Nigerian tennis community, thanks to a significant investment by MTN Nigeria. The club now boasts a revamped tennis court complex and a brand-new state-of-the-art lounge.
The project, valued at over N100 million, has transformed the tennis facilities at Ikoyi Club. The courts have been upgraded to meet international standards, creating a playing surface worthy of hosting major competitions. This upgrade promises to elevate the game for members and attract leading national and international players.
The investment extends beyond the playing field. MTN Nigeria has also constructed a luxurious lounge for Ikoyi Club members.

This modern space, designed to rival the standards of Murtala Muhammed International Airport, offers a comfortable environment for relaxation and socializing before or after matches. Additionally, the lounge is equipped with IT infrastructure and a dedicated service center, allowing members to conveniently address any network or phone-related needs without leaving the club.
Speaking at the unveiling of the facilities, Egerton Idehen, General Manager of Customer Operations at MTN Nigeria, highlighted the company’s commitment to shared value and its dedication to fostering the growth of sports in Nigeria. He emphasized MTN’s ongoing support for initiatives like this partnership, aiming to improve sporting infrastructure, develop young talent, and brighten lives across the country.
