Sir Shina Peters Performs at IGC late Captain

The juju maestro, Sir Shina peters stole the show at the burial ceremony of the late Ibadan Golf Club Captain, Ola Ibironke popularly called known as Dudu Heritage in the Yoruba movie industry.

Ola Ibironke died on Sunday, September 12, after a training session at the Ibadan Golf Club. His death was one of the shocking tales in 2021 as he even partied with friends a few days before the ugly news.

One of the last persons who saw him is Shina Peters. They enjoyed each other’s company in a party at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos, on Friday, two days to his death.

Shina Peters created a special song for him. In Yoruba dialect, the legendary singer praised him, wished him well, mourned him, and promised he would never forget him. He composed phrases like, “You did not inform me you would die,” “this was not how we said it,” and “we were together, we ate together, we drank together and we left Radisson Blu together for Ikeja Golf Club.”

Married to actress Bimbo Oshin, Dudu Heritage was buried on Friday, October 15 in Ibadan, Oyo State. The burial service was held at All Souls Church Jericho, Ibadan, while the body was laid to rest at the Eternal Home Cemetery, Ojoo Area, Ibadan. The service of songs/Christian Wake with a Night of Tribute, took place on Thursday at the World Lilies Event Centre, Apata, Ibadan.
